Using Napalm in Iraq - The Story That Won't Die
National Debunker
...That the US has used white phosphorus to firebomb
civilian targets with MK77 ordinance in assaults on
Fallujah has been well known and leaking out around the
edges of the US corporate media for more than a year. It
also has been admitted to, indirectly, by the Pentagon.
In June of 2005, the Independent/UK ran an article
titled "US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq
war"...

FLASHBACK: Incinerating Iraqis: The Napalm Cover-Up
Mike Whitney
Two
weeks ago the UK Independent ran an article which
confirmed that the US had "lied to Britain over the use
of napalm in Iraq." (6/17/05) Since then, not one
American newspaper or TV station has picked up the story
even though the Pentagon has verified the claims. This
is the extent to which the American "free press" is
yoked to the center of power in Washington. As we’ve
seen with the treatment of the Downing Street Memo,
(which was reluctant! ly reported five weeks after it
appeared in the British press) the air-tight American
media ignores any story that doesn’t embrace their
collective support for the war (...) "Despite persistent
rumors of injuries among Iraqis consistent with the use
of incendiary weapons such as napalm" the Pentagon
insisted that "US forces had not used a new generation
of incendiary weapons, codenamed MK77, in Iraq." (UK
Independent) The Pentagon lied...

US forces 'used chemical weapons' during assault on city
of Fallujah
Peter Popham, The Independent
Powerful new evidence emerged yesterday that the United
States dropped massive quantities of white phosphorus on
the Iraqi city of Fallujah during the attack on the city
in November 2004, killing insurgents and civilians with
the appalling burns that are the signature of this
weapon. Ever since the assault, which went unreported by
any Western journalists, rumours have swirled that the
Americans used chemical weapon! s on the city...

FLASHBACK: Weapons of Mass Destruction Employed by US to
Imolate Falluja: White Phosphorus is a Chemical Weapon
Albasrah.net
The
use of white phosphorus "violates the Geneva Protocol
for the Prohibition of the Use in War of Asphyxiating,
Poisonous or Other Gases, and of Bacteriological Methods
of Warfare. Incendiary agents such as napalm and
phosphorus are not considered to be CW agents since they
achieve their effect mainly through thermal energy.
However, a report by the Agency for Toxic Substances and
Disease ! Registry concludes that White Phosphorus
achieves its effects mainly through non-thermal energy.
It must be concluded that White Phosphorus is considered
a CW [chemical weapon] agent, and would violate the
Geneva Protocol since its use causes indiscriminate and
extreme injuries especially when deployed in an Urban
area such as Falluja, Iraq...

Will the BBC tell the truth about Fallujah?
The Cat's Dream
...On Thursday, 14 April, 2005, in the article "Did BBC
ignore weapons claim?" Director of News Helen Boaden
said: "But I repeat the point made by my editors,
over many weeks of total access to the military
operation, at all levels, we did not see banned weapons
being used, deployed, or even discussed. We cannot
therefore report their use. "Of course, we keep an open
mind and will always investigate, and report, any hard
evidence which comes to light.! " I would like to
inform you about an "hard evidence": In a video you can
even watch on line, RAI NEWS 24 shows that indeed the US
used chemical weapons on civilians in Fallujah. This
is the link:

Operation “Steel Curtain”
Dahr Jamail's Iraq Dispatches
There is a huge US military operation once again
targeting the Al-Qa’im area of Iraq, this one named
"Steel Curtain." As tomorrow marks the one year
anniversary of the beginning of the massacre in Fallujah,
the US military pushes on with house to house fighting
in the small down of Husaybah, near Al-Qa’im. According
to Al-Jazeera: "Falih Abd al-Karim, an Iraqi journalist,
told Aljazeera that US and Iraqi forces were positioned
in al-Sikak neighbourhood and n! orth and south of 12
Rabia al-Awal neighbourhood in central Husaybah. This
came after US warplanes on Sunday evening targeted al-Jamahir,
al-Risala and other neighbourhoods in the town,
destroying houses, and killing and injuring dozens of
people, he said. The bodies remained under the debris of
the houses because US forces do not allow burials or
transfer of the injured to hospitals, Abd al-Karim
added....
